When deciding between purchasing an Ohaus Catapult 1000 C11P75 or the SD75 keep one thing in mind.  While they both weigh 165 lb x 0.1 lb, the Catapult 1000 has a digital display built right into the scale and the SD-75 features a remote indicator.  The benefit of the remote display is that when weighing packages that hang over the platform's edge, it doesn't interfere with reading what's on the display.  If you place a box that is too big on the Catapult Series, it will cover the display.  You may also decide you want a larger base for the SD75 and if so you should review the Ohaus SD75L model.  The only drawback to the larger base is it does not feature a treaded surface, which is only available on the smaller platform models.

Dynamic weighing software opens new opportunities in veterinary and laboratory use.  When weighing animals, movement may interfere with the actual weigh results, making them slightly inaccurate.  Dynamic weighing mode averages out weight readings over a period of time and displays the results.  This mode may be used when the scale is in a rough environment such as on a ship, or when in a location that may not have ideal conditions.  Utilizing this feature, the user can accurately weigh moving objects such as animals, insects or other moving specimens.
