The EC Series Counting Scales offer all the features demanded from industrial, warehousing and production applications, including easy-to-use (more) manual Average Piece Weight entry with configuration options for either pound or gram display. The scales are designed with a removable stainless steel weighing pan and durable ABS plastic housing, perfect for use in industrial environments. Additionally, the 80-hour internal rechargeable battery with power-saving Auto-shut off feature and integrated carry handles provides true portability.

The Ohaus EC30 offers the highest maximum weight capacity in the EC Series.  Compared to some of the other parts counters, its not quite as accurate so make sure this isn't more capacity than you really need.  Sometimes people make the mistake of purchasing a counting scale with the highest possible capacity just in case they might need to weigh larger items down the road.  If for instance you know today that you probably would never need to weigh more than 15 pounds, then purchase an Ohaus EC15 to be safe or the EC6 which only goes up to 15 pounds.  Keep in mind, accuracy is the most important specification and capacity comes second.

The Ohaus EC Series offers 4 different models to choose from.  Depending on what it is you need to count will determine the counting scale most appropriate for you.  Make sure none of your pieces weigh less than the resolution and as a rule of thumb, we recommend purchasing a parts counter with a resolution of what your smallest piece weight actually is.  This ensures accurate counting and will allow you to use the counting scale for applications you may need in the future.

The EC Series Counting Scales provide weighing, counting and accumulation application modes, and can perform both positive and negative counting, continuously keeping track of how many items have been added or removed from the scale.
