When backlight is turned off, UFM-F60 can run 120 hours continuously on battery power. Low battery indicator alerts you when it is time to replace them to save from downtime.  AC adapter is included for non-stop operation.

UFM-F60 features digital motion sensor which may be used for weighing small animals or compensating for harsh environmental conditions.  Since the bench scale increments by 0.02 lb you get a lot higher accuracy than conventional vet scales which typically increment in 0.2 lb intervals.
