The Model DS6100 Remote Indicator Scale offers a variety of features in a compact, portable design. The digital read-out can be placed on a tabletop or mounted on a wall. Constructed of painted steel, the low profile platform features extra wide feet with Sure-Grip pads to keep the base from tipping or slipping. The DS6100 can be used on any type of flooring - including carpeting. Stepping on the platform powers on the scale and the patient's weight is quickly displayed in the large LCD read-out. Doran's exclusive Weight Lock feature allows an accurate weight to be held regardless of a patient’s movement. Accurately recording the weight of patients with tremors or unsteadiness is possible thanks to the Motion Lock technology. This standard feature calculates the weight based on an average of weights while the patient is moving on the scale. Once an accurate average is calculated, the weight is displayed, the scale beeps, and the weight remains on the LCD panel until the scale is zeroed or the scale is shut off. Optional USB and RS-232 communications options allow the recording of a patient’s weight and BMI value into a PC based Excel Spreadsheet with the optional Excelerator software. Patient data can also be sent to an optional printer or EMR system. Standard Features:
