Ohaus Pioneer PA313 laboratory balance features an RS232 interface for data communication.  This feature enables you to connect the Pioneer to a thermal printer, dot matrix printer or to a PC.  In order for this to work properly, you will need to purchase the adapter kit to connect the balance to your computer's serial port or to the printer you decided to purchase.  In addition, your computer will need you to install Winwedge or Ohaus Collect software for the computer to be able to see the balance.  Once installed, you should be able to automatically dump the Pioneer's weight reading directly into a spreadsheet for quick and easy documentation.
