The UWE UFM-B60 bench scale is NTEP certified to weigh in pounds or kilograms.  You may use UWE's UFM Series for farm stands or in industrial environments since it operates on rechargeable battery or an AC adapter.  This flexibility is useful for applications where an AC adapter may not be present.  Rather than needing to run long extension cords to power the bench scale up, simply run the UFM-B60 on its internal rechargeable battery.
