Electronic personal weighing scale is equipped with non-skid feet and its platform has a non-skid mat so your weighing can be done safely on a sturdy base.  Health-O-Meter 349KLX floor scale operates on 9 volt battery (included) or an AC adapter (sold separately).  Low battery indicator and 30 second auto-off feature conserves energy without any hassle. 

This digital scale is almost identical to the more affordable Healthometer 320KL, except the color is white rather than silver and also includes an RS232 port for computer communication.  Because the weighing specifications are the same, we recommend purchasing the 320KL if you will not utilize this feature.  Data transfer to a PC requires serial communications software that needs to be installed on a computer.  This software allows you to export scale readings into an Excel spreadsheet or similar program for ease of documentation.  Data communication software sold separately.
