Vet scales from Detecto make weighing four-legged patients easy and affordable.  Large, low-profile weighing platform and high capacity of 400 pounds make the Detecto VET400 digital vet scale perfect for kennels, veterinarians, or laboratories.  Medium to large size animals can fit on the 42" x 22" platform, which is the largest veterinary scale available from Detecto.  Vet400 operates on 6 "AA" batteries (not included) which can easily be changed.  An AC adapter may also be purchased separately if you do not want to depend on batteries.

Removable stainless steel weighing platform makes cleanup fast and easy. Its scale base can be positioned up to 8 feet away from the remote indicator due to 8' coiled cable.  Digital display features adjustable mounting bracket for desk or wall mount convenience. The electronic veterinarian scale and indicator are battery powered and have a power-saving auto-sleep mode. Auto zero tracking maintains the scale at zero while hold function retains animal's weight even after it has been removed from the platform.

There are a couple smaller models available that offer portability if you can sacrifice some capacity.  The VET50 vet clinic scale is much smaller but can be lifted onto a table to make weighing small pets a little bit easier for the veterinarian.  It can only weigh up to 50 lbs, but if you only weigh cats or small dogs, you can save some money and have a more portable scale to weigh animals on.  It uses the same digital display so other than compact size, the features are the same.

If you like the Detecto VET-400, but wish it was more mobile, consider their VET330WH electronic animal weighing scale.  It has a slightly lower weighing capacity of 330 pounds and uses a different display type, but features built-in wheels and handle to make them more portable.  We recommend it if you desire a vet scale capable of easily being transports around a clinic, but also offers sufficient weighing capacity to weigh large dogs.
