Ohaus Ranger Count is an NTEP certified compact scale at 60 lb x 0.01 lb for use in selling products based upon weight. It also has the ability to count parts as small as 0.1 grams, however the parts counting function is not legal for trade. This means it cannot be used for pill counting applications, but may be used for hardware including nuts, bolts, screws, nails, etc. Rugged cast aluminum housing along with stainless steel platform can withstand industrial environments.

Ohaus Ranger Count Series offers large, backlit LCD display with display of weighing results within 2 seconds and RS232 port for quick connectivity to printers or computer systems. For use in applications requiring additional filtering, the Ranger series also includes dynamic weighing software allowing weigh determination where vibration is an issue.

Counting utilizes average piece weight of items divided from net weight on scale, to calculate number of pieces being weighed.
Ranger Count offers users choice to acquire APW automatically, or to set average piece weight manually.
RC30LS lets users count pieces either by adding or subtracting parts into/from the container.
