6745 electronic infant scale from Detecto is an easy-to-use and highly accurate weighing solution for the medical market. It weighs 30 pounds x 0.1 ounces and features color-coded keypad with step-by-step operating instructions on how to use the baby scale. Detecto 6745 can operate on alkaline batteries (150 continuous hours), rechargeable NiCad batteries (80 continuous hours) or AC Adapter. Built-in battery charger enables you to charge NiCad or NiMH batteries which takes approximately 15 hours to charge. Sleep mode and auto-shutoff helps conserve battery life as much as possible. All of these power options ensures your Detecto baby scale can be powered up one way or another. Locking pin lets you remove weighing tray for disinfecting in between use. There is also built-in RS232 interface for connecting to optional printer or to personal computer. In order to actually connect to a PC, you would need to purchase data transfer software so the computer could interpret scale data.
