The Ohaus FD Series includes a selection of general purpose and legal for trade models to appeal to users of all kinds of weighing applications. What's good about the Ohaus FD15 is its full list of approvals.  It features NTEP and Canada Measurement Approvals, is USDA-AMS accepted, NSF certified and supports HACCP compliance.

Checkweighing mode has 3 LED indicator and audible alarm which alerts user when limits have been reached.  Food scales require a lot of cleaning after use so the FD15 stainless steel weighing pan can be removed and placed in a dishwasher to make cleanup easy.

As with all Ohaus products, the FD Food Portioning Scale is extremely easy to use, featuring a highly intuitive interface and advanced software capabilities. Using the simple, four-button keypad on the scale’s front panel, the FD Food Portioning Scale can be set to the mode and weighing units required for any operation in just seconds. Once the desired configuration is set, it can be easily locked in with either the software or the hardware locks. The scale’s easy to navigate software menu also facilitates calibration, while its software and hardware calibration lockouts prevent any accidental recalibration. Further enhancing the product’s ease of use are the three tare options available to users.
