Healthometer 498KL digital floor scale is a new model coming in mid 2009 which is more affordable than the 752KL medical model.  Since the 320KL was recently discontinued, Healthometer has added this floor scale as the value model.  Its specifications are more comparable to the 500KL except rather than a column, the 498KL features a remote display.  While it is capable of connecting to an EMR system via USB, there is no RS232 interface.  If you require this feature review the Healthometer 349KLX and see if this is more suitable for your weighing needs.
