Ohaus designed new Valor 2000 Series for food service weighing and feature NEMA 4 / IP65 rating for protection against dust and small jets of water.  This does not mean it is waterproof, but water resistant.  You would never want to submerge the scale completely under water or allow large jets of water to hit it, such as hosing it down.

Valor 2000 V21PW6 comes standard with internal rechargeable battery as well as removable stainless steel pan cover for easy cleaning.
