Economical waist high scale from Health-O-Meter is a great scale for personal weighing.  Affordable enough for household use, but advanced enough for medical facilities, the 499KL offers great value during these hard economic times.

Digital scale weighs up to 500 lb in 0.2 lb increments and features a non-skid mat for safely stepping onto the platform.  Functions include BMI, Hold/Release, Zero, KG/LB, Clear and Enter.  Other notable features include low battery indicator, 2 minute auto-off (disabled with AC adapter) and auto-zero.

Hospitals and clinics that need a medical scale capable of connecting to electronic medical records can do so via USB.  EMR connectivity does not include EMR setup which requires a software specialist to set up.  This feature simply allows you to connect to a currently existing EMR system.
